Traditions

All the key celebrations in a Crystal World are aligned with the season. From the beginning of the year, mages celebrate New Year and set new goals. During the year, they hold various festivals and balls:

Here is the detailed list of all seasonal celebrations in Lake Kingdom:

January
Mages celebrate New Year on the first night of the year, between December 31st and January 1st. This magical time marks new beginnings. Mages believe that all negativity and hard feelings should be left behind. They practice letting-go rituals and focus on developing new skills and habits to make the year ahead exciting.

February
The last month of winter brings a heartwarming celebration of love. In mid-February, mages show appreciation to loved ones by giving chocolate and heart-shaped cards filled with encouraging words. This celebration isn’t just for couples. It’s also a chance to practice self-love and reconnect with close friends and family.

March-April
In late March and early April, nature awakens from its deep slumber, and tree bark takes on gentle green hues. Mages enjoy collecting the first flowers and decorating their dinner tables to feel more connected with Divine.

May-June
As the days grow longer, nature begins to shine bright green. Mages hold a Flower Feast on June 21st, the summer solstice. Traditionally, women decorate their hair with flowers, and homes are adorned with bouquets and garlands of every shade.

July-August
Though the tree canopies remain lush and green, the bark gradually takes on golden hues. To beat the summer heat, mages hold the Citrus Drinks Festival, helping everyone stay hydrated while savoring delicious fruits and beverages.

September
The air grows colder, and tree bark and leaves turn orange and red. This is when young mages return to school and refocus on their studies after the summer break.

October
At this time, nature reaches its peak brightness before it begins to fade. The last day of October is a celebration of transition. Traditional Fall Masquerades require all mages to cover their faces with peculiar masks and wear clothing in shades of yellow and red – from pale lemon to bright orange and maroon.

November
Tree bark darkens, radiating deep maroon and purple hues. During this time, mages slow down and reflect on the past, appreciating their collective efforts and honoring those who sacrificed their lives for peace. In mid-November, families gather to commemorate fallen soldiers and cherish moments together.

December
By mid-December, tree bark begins to glow a pale blue, creating an enchanting, magical atmosphere. The Winter Ball takes place on the solstice, December 21st, with celebrations held in schools and workplaces. Traditionally, ladies wear dresses in every shade of blue, while gentlemen wear white suits.
