The animal world contains multiple species living in all the climate zones. With more than 500,000 lakes and multiple rivers, Lake Kingdom also become a habitat for more than 5,000 kinds of fish.

Many mages have pets such as cats, dogs, bunnies, and small reptiles. Considering that Crystal World never popularized the engines and machines, big domesticated animals have proven to be loyal companions for the mages who love travelling. Nearly every household has a horse and a carriage, and horse-riding skills are taught in schools.

​The most unusual creatures are dragons. Historically, they preferred to live in wild areas and roam free, which has sparked the curiosity of scientists and adventurers who periodically visit their habitats to observe them. Eventually, the mages find a way to tame these reptiles and raise them as domesticated animals (which began the Era of Dragons). These days, mages with higher incomes and dragon-riding skills prefer to keep the dragons as loyal companions for their trips.
