Accepting Fate

This is the poem to accept the things that are beyond your control

In the warm embraces of sunshine,

Under the gentle touch of the air,

With a quiet, invisible whisper

I’ll accept my impending fate.

I would walk a different path

If I only could choose my tomorrow,

If I only could skip that part

Where I must go through sorrow.

If I only could stay in the land

Where my blood was mixed with soil.

Maybe I won’t know regret,

But…

Then, I never would write this poem.
