Self-Belief

This poem will boost your self-confidence

Do not tell me how to survive,

Do not teach me the art of crawling.

Don’t you see? We were born to fly

In the clouds of blossoming morning.

Do not tell me how to hide,

Do not point at empty people.

Do believe — we can leave them behind

And enjoy a taste of freedom.

Do not teach me how to cry,

Do not ask me to love the darkness.

Don’t you know? I was meant to Inspire

With the glare of brilliant sparkles.
